Learn About Tampa Decking & Pools
We have grown after many years. After caring for so many pools we realized that some of the issues in maintaining a pool can be mitigated by proper pool design. We assist clients with pool remodels (resurfacing, tile and coping, decking, and decorative concrete).
Unlike many recent startup pool companies, we are part of the Tampa community and have been for 30 years. We have all heard stories of startup pool companies collecting a check, and failing to complete the job. Given our history in the city, you can trust that we are here to stay!

Paver Sealing: What Is It?
Laying protection over your pavers’ surface is known as paver sealing. Against water, UV light, oil, dirt, and other factors that over time could harm or discolor the material, this layer serves as a barrier. It also enhances the color and texture of the pavers, therefore stressing their natural attractiveness.
Only premium sealers that have been tested to resist the heat, humidity, and rain typical of the Tampa area are used at Tampa Decking and Pools Whether your pavers are natural stone, concrete, or brick, our sealing method helps to increase their lifetime and maintain their look.

Why Paver Sealing Matters in Tampa
Florida’s outdoor surfaces bear a lot: continual sunlight, lots of rain, and high humidity. This exposure over time can cause pavers to fade in color, grow mildew or algae, and move out of alignment. Our paver sealing service provides several key benefits:
1. Weather Protection
All of which can lead to cracks, fading, or erosion, sealing helps stop damage brought on by UV radiation, moisture, and abrupt temperature swings.

2. Enhanced Curb Appeal
The sealant revives faded colors and adds a smooth, attractive finish. You can choose between a natural matte or glossy wet-look finish to match your style.
3. Weed and Mold Prevention
Unsealed paver joints can become breeding grounds for weeds, mold, and mildew. Sealing helps lock out moisture and reduces growth between the joints.
4. Stain Resistance
More resistant to stains from oil, rust, food, and pool chemicals, sealed pavers are also easy to clean.

5. Extended Stability
A sealed surface offers you a safer and longer-lasting outdoor environment since it is less prone to chip, crack, or shift.
6. Our Methodical Paver Sealing Process
We guarantee your pavers get the finest protection available by using a thorough, professional approach:

Paver Sealing: What Is It?
First Step: Initial Check
Before we seal, we first carefully evaluate your paver surface to find any repairs or cleaning needs.
Second: Power Washing
From the surface, we clear dirt, filth, algae, and old residue using commercial-grade pressure washing tools.
Third step: joint sanding—should it be necessary
We apply polymeric sand to stabilize the pavers and stop weed growth if joints have been loose or washed out.
The fourth step: drying time
The pavers must be absolutely dry if we are to guarantee the sealer adheres correctly. Though it varies depending on the weather, this drying time usually runs 24 to 48 hours.
Step 5: Sealant Application
We apply a professional-grade sealant using a sprayer or roller for even coverage. Most jobs receive two coats for maximum durability and finish.
Step 6: Curing
Once sealed, the pavers need time to cure. After 24 hours, light foot traffic is usually good; nonetheless, we advise waiting longer before moving large items or driving across them.
Pavers Should Be Sealed How Often?
Pavers in the Tampa area should usually be resealed every two to three years to preserve best protection and look. High traffic locations or spaces next to pools could call more regular maintenance.
Your pavers probably need another sealing if they are losing their color, feel rough, or readily absorb water.
